Title: Lacrosse Something or other?
Post by: 7-upslider on March 05, 2009, 07:57:41 pm
So i've only been in this hobby for 3 months and already own a generic ideal 55 an embossed 7-up 55 and now this beast that i'm not even sure what it is... my brother found it on auction and i told him to bid for me.. but i don't know what it is?? It's a lacrosse of some kind, but he couldn't make out the model number and told me there were 3 slots where the cans vend and 6 flavor options as shown in the pic...? the only lacrosses' i've seen on this site have 2 slots for vending and 5 flavors max?? any ideas on model and worth? any help is appreciated!! Thanks

Jonny

Wish I could help, but I've never even seen a Lacrosse machine.  I live in the wrong part of the country!  I do love the sign on that machine!

How about a pic of the whole machine... Could that be a Choice Vend?

Personally, I draw the line on push button style machines... I'm more of mechanical guy myself... too many electronics that could go wrong... But hey if you like it and it's priced in your budget.. congrats.. don't buy it for resale... you most likely won't be able to resell very quickly.

Hey Pat, thanks for the offer!     It's a real nice, clean looking machine!  I don't know that that one would pass the war department authorization right now...I'm still working on approval on a couple older machines.  I haven't ventured into the squaretop game yet.  That might have to wait until I'm out of the Air Force and not moving around all the time (and have a house with a large game room/work shop).

Hey guys i finally got my bro to take some more pics... I still would like to know what kind of machine it is... you can't make it out from the pics because i had to shrink them down to upload, but it has a LaCrosse emblem on the bottom right on the front of the machine, but i'm not sure the model... could it be a CCV-136-6? did they make those?? Thanks again guys..

Well for anyone interested, I've got the machine in my garage and according to the model tag, it is a Lacrosse model ACV (ILL) 318 - 6 has anyone ever heard of these?? It's missing the coin mechanism and also the main converter box i guess you would call it.. the red circle in the pic attached.. it has the same guts as a Lacrosse LCV - 136 - 4 if anyone knows anything about these machines i would appreciate any information i can obtain. Thanks
