| Title: How to keep the wife happy Post by: cokecolaman on February 10, 2009, 11:50:41 pm I purchased an old slider and spent a weekend cleaning, sanding and painting the thing. It's not perfect, but it looks good. I purchased some gaskets from the "Soda Jerk Works"  and got some great advice regarding the thermostat from them as well. I had the decals made and put on the following week. My wife loves it! I get the feeling she will never tease me or give me a hard time again, and I think she might be hooked as well.
