A quick search reviews this may only apply to children's toys...

I just did a quick search and a post came up on ebay's forums I found particularly amusing....

Has anyone else heard of this law going into effect in Feb 2009 where we cannot resell any children under 12 yrs items if used? I was told of this, and looked at the text of the document, and websites. Here are the links I looked at: http://www.duckduckgooseconsignment.com/CPSIAlaw.html, or just search the CPSIA law. Anyone else hear of this?

Hmmmmmm when I was growing up we had real steel toys and pedal cars with lead paint on them and I don't recall anyone getting sick or injured!   :tounge:

I'm wondering if any of it will flow over into other areas.   Seems like there are more federal laws on nit picky things these days.    Just waiting for the other shoe to drop and it effecting other things.

Wonder if this was written and attached to a pay raise some where.

How about the Coca Cola trademark on our machines. Is that altered when we repiant the machines in a red that isn't quite Coca Cola red?

When you alter a machine is where you get into trouble. A perfect example would be if you took a VMC33 coke machine that wasn't offered embossed and added embossing to it or the use of non authentic decals is where you'll get yourself into trouble.
