Title: Re: whats this machine? Post by: mznb1u on December 29, 2008, 11:20:16 pm Looks like a Vendorlator VMC 33. There are a few on E-Bay now asking from a few hundred unrestored up to $3,000 for a restored. That machine has a vending drum on the inside similar and a lot of times those parts are missing. I don't think that machine is embossed.
Value would depend a lot on whether or not the machine is complete with coin mech and all internal parts. The Walters book puts that machine in average condition at around $650. Title: Re: whats this machine? Post by: RC kid on December 31, 2008, 07:53:30 pm There is a guy in Raliegh NC selling an unrestored one (VMC duel 27) for $600.00. Complete, straight and working, and it has some new parts. I haven't seen the machine in person so I am only telling you this to use as a price reference.
I have a Pepsi VMC 33 totally restored inside and out (done correctly) for $2300.00 and I have no bites. So what is it really worth. Difficult to say in these hard times. Good luck. Post by: sodaman on January 01, 2009, 09:53:38 am Yes, 2 years ago at the Chicago show there was a Coke 27A complete but not in as good condition as that one priced at $500 and it went thru the Kane County show and Pheasant Run on Friday without being sold. Same way for a complete embossed Pepsi 33 for $1100, it didn't sell either although they are really nice looking restored and certainly worth the $2300. Most people are looking for something that vends a choice of drinks, not just Coke.
