Post by: Larry on November 18, 2008, 06:33:45 pm

I got some other ads.  If you let me know what you need, I might have it.  My original scans are either 100 DPI or 150 dpi.  Anything after that just distorts them.  Send me a P.M. and I'll email you the 81 ad.

Joey,

Here's a couple Cavalier ads.  I don't have the other ads.  I might have a VMC 33 Pepsi salesman card, but I would have to look them up.

These all had to be resized to under 10k.

Those are Great ads,,, I find it interesting in the Vendo add, showing the new coolers for 1955.. they talk about the V81, but don't have it pictured?
Larry, if you have those scanned, I'd love a copy of those as well to print out for the wall.

Thanks

Neat Candy machine

You Mean Cigarette machine....Is it a national or Stoner? The coin entry bezel is where Stoner put theirs, no light-up, 7-pull, same mirror trim as a Stoner...

Curtis...what is it?

Those ads are exactly!!! what I pictured for a calendar background  for the machines.
Larry we'll have to see what we come up with and if we could get 12 for next year that
would be awesome! I could work on them now and be good to go for next year!
If some of you guys buy these let me know...very nice!

Looks like a Stoner to me.

I thought the "nice squaretop" comment was referring to the Gulf attendent!   Cormy is correct--he does not look like he is having a good day!  Looks like somebody borrowed his left-handed screwdriver and his sky hook and did not return them!  :tounge:

Joey,

The e-mail is on the way!  Thanks for sending that ad my way.  I have looked through a lot of magazine and ad bins at antique malls looking for that one.  It will hang proudly over my V-39.

Thanks again!  :happydrinkers:

Tim

What kind of cigarettes do you think he got out of that there cigarette machine? :tounge:  If you look at the sanitary potato chip rack, you will notice that most of the bags are gone.  Someone 's got the munchies.

John,

The Vendo 81 ad is a two page ad.  You'll notice that the ad says "New V line of cooler equipment."  The Mills is a two page ad too.

Eric,

I agree with the calendar idea.  I love the old ads, their characters, and descriptions.  Why are there only older people on the Vendo ad.  I guess no one bought machines except for the owners of companies.

I mainly have ads of machines that I own or owned.  I did get a bunch of mills ads, mainly the 120a, b, and c from Beth (the lady that sells these).  I think I have a 27 salesman card and a vmc 33 card.  Thoses were machines that I thought I was going to buy, but didn't.

When I ordered the ads there was an ad for the Kay pipe stand for the 27.  I didn't see that there yesterday when I looked up her site to get the link.  She might have another or maybe that ad hasn't left and she could send a scan.

Good idea...I never thought about collecting ads with the machines I have in them.

Great, now something else to collect :glare:

LOTS of goodies there!
I'm going for some of the carton/bottle ads.
I collect other soda stuff.
Cheaper than some of the stuff I have and alot
less room storing as it goes into a binder!!
