Title: What were they thinking? Post by: Kilroy on November 10, 2008, 08:50:32 pm or maybe I should ask what they were smoking...
The ad on Craiglst said 1950's Coke machine. Well . It was. Once. Title: Re: What were they thinking? Post by: oscar on November 10, 2008, 08:53:50 pm It's like the Frankenstein Monster Coke Machine.

I forget who sold the converstion but it was done by the bottling company. If I ever found one close enough and complete I would probably buy it for the cool factor. I know where a Vendo 39 that this was done to but its missing everything in the inside.

Post by: loman4ec on November 10, 2008, 09:33:09 pm Yep it was a conversion by Selectivend. They made another conversion for the V83 also. It made the small selection door clear plastic and added a knob to spin the drum inside. Once you saw the flavor you wanted you insert your money and remove your soda. I like the slant shelf conversion.

It had the textured aluminum front like that. I traded it on the Vendo 63 I have now. At the time I thought the 83 was too bulky and ugly. Today, I would've kept it.
