Title: V185 Help Post by: Coke Head on September 06, 2008, 11:55:14 am Hello everyone, I am pretty new to this site and was hoping I could get some help!
I have I think a V185 (Pictures below) The problem I am having is when I put 25cents in 1 Quarter in goes in and clicks but when I push a selection button Nothing happens? I have looked for loose connections, could not see any. The box where the coin changer plugs into has a relay switch in it along with another type of solid switch with two terminal coming off of it. I cleaned the contacts on the relay but no luck. I have pushed all the relay switches on the ven motors and they all work and they are back to the home position. Any Idea's where I might start to fix this problem? Thanks to ever can :help: Also is this a V185? Have you tried looking for a manual? Original manuals do pop up from time to time on eBay. There are two sites that you can check for reproduction manuals: www.sodamuseum.com and www.colamachines.com I don't see the V-185-5 listed on either, but maybe a close model might offer some troubleshooting tips. I've found that the basic operation of these old machines didn't evolve real fast - just changes to this part and modifications to that part over time. Anyone else have any advise what might be causing me not to get a can to drop after inserting the coin? All the collums have enough cans in them. |
