Is the mercury tube broken ?

Thanks Pat Pat, I've replaced quite a few of them, as long as you have the right size and have a accurate thermometer beside the one you are replacing so you can get the new one tied on in the correct temperature position, most of them tie on with metal bands. Title: Re: Replacing a thermometer Post by: Kilroy on August 23, 2008, 10:40:42 am i guess my next question is is there a site or store that sells the replacements? There has to be a cheaper alternative than buying a new thermometer to cannibal it.
