Title: 1985 or so MID 80's Pepsi Foutain 4 head.
Post by: ussexplorer on August 18, 2008, 08:15:40 pm
Drove by a convience store with a pile of stuff outside. In the pile of stuff was a 1985 or mid 80's 4 head foutain. I was told the type that goes in a tailer. They said coke came and picked there up. But pepsi did not. They said make offer. So I figured I would post here. Sorry not pics. Looks like brand new. They said the coke one worked. SO no reason this one wouldn't. Problem is this is co2 tanks and presserised tanks. Not syrup bags. Plus It looks like the hoses might have been cut. I didn't take a close look at it. I was thinking 25.00 to 50.00.

ASAP response would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Josh

Unless you own a restaurant.....pass. Not great for home use.

Why do you say that Glen? It is a premix system so it is better for home use. Do you have pictures of it? Its probably made by Cornelius which is great for home use? Is it a big unit or is it smaller. Being that it is from a trailer is is probably a more compact unit.

smaller unit. Didn't get a close up look at it. I thought it was a syrup based unit due to the fact the lines was cut. But maybe I was looking at it wrong. Sorry no pics. NO way of taking pics right off the top. I was looking around e-bay for a price and then the net. I found a 100% portible one on a cart for 125.00.

The only problem I heard with them is getting the tanks are hard. Because we are not a business.

Now if it was a syrup bag system. You can get those at say costco.

later,

Josh

You can mix your own with the syrup. The tanks themselves are easy to get as they are used with home brewing and the tanks are refillable
