Title: One more question :) Post by: tolken4 on August 17, 2008, 02:31:07 am Can anyone verify that a vendo 110 round top does not use a starter? I have the door off, see previous post, and do not see one anywhere. So, if the light is flickering, and I have already replaced the bulb, am I correct to replace the ballast?

You'll hold the light switch in for a second or two so the bulb can start.

Try lightly pushing the bulb inward and holding to see if you get better results... Can you visually inspect the sockets to ensure they're clean, not broken or damaged...? If this is a correct replacement bulb and it doesn't illuminate properly, then yes, replace the ballast. Title: Re: One more question :) Post by: Larry on August 17, 2008, 11:55:32 am Did you hold the button in above the door (as suggested) on the inside for at least five seconds? I had the flickering lights problem too. The switch held in is your starter. Try that before changing the ballast.
