Title: Vendo 44 price? Post by: TimmyJ on July 05, 2008, 05:38:49 pm Newbie here. I've got a chance to pickup a nice Vendo 44. It is complete and everything works. The paint isn't that good and there are a few small dents, but there is no rust. The owner will not set a price and told me to just make her an offer. I saw a similar 44 sell on ebay recently for $1500 with only 1 bid. I know you can't give great estimates without pictures, but please give me your thoughts.

Title: Re: Vendo 44 price? Post by: SIGNGUY on July 05, 2008, 11:18:34 pm Gotta love those people... "just make and offer" Ok 10 dollars! theres and offer.
They obviously have a price in mind, why can't they just tell you... If the seller knows stuff about the machine and has some information on machines, then he/she must know a value.. but if it's just some old lady who has it in her garage.. shw might be very happy to get 500-1000 for it ? Start low and see what happens... after all the guy did say make an offer... Cant' hurt to try. Good luck! Title: Re: Vendo 44 price? Post by: sodaworks on July 06, 2008, 10:00:14 pm John's right! When someone says "make me an offer" I always go dirt low. If its too low the buyer will always counter. If you think his price is too high just point out what will need to be done to get the machine back in shape.
