Post by: Pat Pixley on June 27, 2008, 11:12:10 pm
Ok have any of you guy's or Gal's restored a LaCrosse ? :wow:
I've Got mine broke down Finallyand I'm telling you the wiring was a
mess and this was inside the box behind the insulation
a lot of electric tape  :upside:  , and getting the compressor out was a
chore  I had to break that down just to get it out , and the main door                               I've never seen so much wood :wow:,  And I hate those  :censored: tork screws
Those things are gone

Just wondering if any of you have done one yet or not ?
I think it  Miller time  after this :drinking:..

Agreed, I restored this small Lacrosse, I think it was a 48.  For such a small machine this thing weighed a ton.   I'm not a big Pepsi fan so I ended up making it a coke machine.  I ended up giving it to my parents since they wanted a small soda machine.

That look GREAT David  you did a good job.
I do plan on keeping mine as a Pepsi Machine , I just finish the
compressor tonight, and I have to make modifications to the cabinet
Johnie G  and I were talking today and  he brought up something I was
thinking about doing  and we both said I should do it so it will be done .
Then it is off to have it soda blasted and painted :tounge:
( I hope it goes that smooth) there will be photos .

It looks great in red.

That one reminds me of the one I had.
