Title: 1950 Coffee/Hot Chocolate Vending Machine Post by: GreginNM on June 22, 2008, 11:59:15 am Has anyone ever seen one of these (or have one in their collection)? The guy says it's from 1950. It vends hot chocolate or coffee! I thought it was pretty cool, myself! Anyone care to venture a good price on one of these?

After taking a look at the photos it looks like this might be a Stoner Mfg. Co. Hot Drink Machine. The coin entry bezel looks like a Stoner bezel.

I found it on Craigslist, but it looks like I just missed it. I believe I've been in this situation before!! :darn:

Sorry, I don't still have the number of the guy that sold it. I do know that he has sold the machine to someone else in Dallas...I missed it by a small bit of time. Unfortunately, now I have something else on my list to watch out for! Curtis...thanks!! :wow: :veryangry: Now I feel even better about missing that machine!! It looks just awful. :glare: Just kidding, what a gorgeous machine!! There is one of the other pilots in my squadron here that roasts his own coffee, usually pretty exotic stuff, and hosts coffee seminars at his house with his elaborate collection of coffee making equipment. To say the least, it's awesome!! We usually have a few bags of his coffee here at the house that I have bought from him, and I can only imagine how cool it would be to vend his coffee out of one of those machines (not to mention how jealous he would be!! :laugh: ) Do these appear very often??
