Title: Happy Father's Day
Post by: mznb1u on June 15, 2008, 06:13:07 am
Happy Father's Day  :happydrinkers: to all the fathers out there!  A good day to look for a new machine because you should be able to get approval from the War Department!

I get the double bonus because my birthday is today as well!  Maybe I will just pick up two new machines!  :drinking:

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dads.  Hope everyone has a good one and we can all pass along our passion for the old stuff to our son's, daughters and grandchildren.

Not a bad Father's Day...but no new soda machines.  I did go pick up a 1954 Chambers 90C stove in great shape, along with the original vent hood.  These are the Cadillac of cook stoves!  Nothing made today can hold a candle to the quality and reliability of these stoves (at any price), and they can still be bought reasonably.  My wife is almost convinced that she wants to cook on it (after I clean it up).  I guess I got this one for me as much as for her!  The picture shows it in its former home.

Hope everyone else had a good one!
