Title: ipod users Post by: jasmine64 on June 12, 2008, 03:08:28 pm do they make smaller earbuds for them smaller than the ones they come with?
I cant use the ones that came with my nano they dont fit. Title: Re: ipod users Post by: zadd on June 12, 2008, 07:18:36 pm Best Buy has a complete isle of them
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: loman4ec on June 13, 2008, 10:59:58 am Yep the earphones they come with are junk. Go buy a good pair of in ear phones from Best buy or even ebay. I just bought a pair of Sony's and I love them. I strongly recommend the type that have a rubber piece that fits into the ear. They give much better sound quality and are much more comfortable.

Title: Re: ipod users Post by: zadd on June 14, 2008, 08:21:07 am I don't remember the brand I got from best buy but I can tell you they have a skull on them and I think there called smokin buds or something like that  . Not to expensive and they sound awesome .
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: jasmine64 on June 14, 2008, 10:20:31 am I'm new to this ipod stuff. I have every video game system made and I'm just now doing the ipod thing.
Besides itune what is the best place to find music? I like audiobooks best. Title: Re: ipod users Post by: loman4ec on June 14, 2008, 11:04:19 am I have always used Itunes but now that I just bought a car here in Singapore I am really kicking myself. All of the music you buy on Itunes is in a special format and cannot be burned to a CD to be used in a car or any CD player. My car stereo does not have any external inputs so I cannot hook up my Ipod. I bought an FM modulator but the sound quality is terrible. So if you want to use your music anywhere other than on your Ipod buy from somewhere other than Itunes. I have heard that Amazon.com has a good MP3 music storebut I have never used it.
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: zadd on June 14, 2008, 02:51:09 pm I don't know what your doing different, but I can burn any play-list from itunes to a CD and play in my car or home stereo. Some newer Cd's burns won't play in older CD players and CD devices. :Oo: I what I've experienced .
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: loman4ec on June 15, 2008, 09:47:24 am Are you burning music that you have imported from an existing CD or music that you have downloaded from Itunes. The music downloaded from itunes I had heard is in a special format and cannot be used in anything other than an Ipod
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: jasmine64 on June 15, 2008, 11:01:15 am What is the play count for on the itunes window where all the titles show up?
Is it an honesty system of how many times it's played or what? Title: Re: ipod users Post by: bubba on June 16, 2008, 05:37:03 am What is the play count for on the itunes window where all the titles show up? Is it an honesty system of how many times it's played or what? I think I'm the last person without an Ipod, but I think the play count is more a stat for you. I think it creates a "favorites" playlist of mostly played songs... Title: Re: ipod users Post by: jasmine64 on June 16, 2008, 08:07:57 am Just wondered since I also buy alot of clipart on the net and their tou states only 200 uses per year, wasnt sure if it had a hidden agenda in the play count... Title: Re: ipod users Post by: GreginNM on June 16, 2008, 09:41:23 am No, Ken, you aren't the last! I'm not sure I would even know how to work one if it was handed to me! I guess I had better catch up with the times and get rid of my Walkman! :tounge:
Title: Re: ipod users Post by: loman4ec on June 16, 2008, 09:43:12 am No there is no limit on plays on songs purchased from Itunes. If there was I would be in trouble. I would have my Ipod surgically implanted if I could

I hated that thing. |
