One side looks almost welded, while the other looks like the end of the pin. Would you normally hammer that pin back out? Do you think that it would damage the gear or shaft?
I looked at the manual and parts catalog and in the exploded diagram of parts, it shows a pin ... so maybe that is the answer.. What do you think? Once you remove the pin and gear, pull on the coupler and shaft will slip through the main door.
