Title: Glascock Jr sign questions Post by: coke_and_stuff on June 10, 2008, 01:51:05 am So I finally recieved my Glascock Jr today, As you can tell by the photos that it has been painted over including the signs. I cleaned one up and it turned out ok. Would you leave as is and finish the chest with the signs as is or would you restore them?

If so, perhaps keeping the originals to work on at a later time or just save and utilize reproductions for the interim... if your going to repaint the frames and lids then I would redo the panels. if you can get them cleaned up a bit, then I would clean up the frame (not restore it) so they match,,, and it could like pretty good kinda rough?? was this the one on Ebay in PA? I was going to bid as well as it went fairly reasonable didn't it... Glad you got it!
