Title: Glasco Cooler Post by: bubba on May 11, 2008, 09:36:13 pm I'm interested in this Glasco cooler.. What are they going for... it has a coin mech, no rack, no key and untested. Small rust on the side door..

200-250 is fair with no rack... maybe 300 if you really like it and it doesn't need to be restored? Title: Re: Glasco Cooler Post by: Kilroy on May 12, 2008, 07:14:10 am figure another $250 for a repro rack, used ones show up on Ebay, but far and in between.
I would also think around the 200 - @250 range, if it cools Title: Re: Glasco Cooler Post by: loman4ec on May 12, 2008, 08:10:52 am I would honestly prefer them without the rack. You have several upright machines for sodas and beer this would be a great reach in cooler for everything else.
Title: Re: Glasco Cooler Post by: SIGNGUY on May 12, 2008, 08:33:19 am I agree with Josh, Really, they are Much better without the rack if you really want to use it as an everyday cooler.. YOu can have a cool looking vintage cooler running 24/7 and put anything in it from cans, bottles food, etc... Just use it as a reach in cooler.
For the collectability and display, yeah the rack is nice to have in there , but for everyday use,,, I have mine out and sitting on a shelf somewhere.. Title: Re: Glasco Cooler Post by: bubba on May 12, 2008, 12:04:58 pm Thanks guys.. thats a good idea to just use it without the rack... I guess I'll give a shot at this one... My wife will be soo happy... :veryangry:
