Title: Nichol Kola 6 pack bottle carrier
Post by: Chedki on April 16, 2008, 12:31:26 am
Here's a pic of my Nichol Kola 6 pack bottle carrier. I don't know the date of it but it has the five cents symbol on it so it has to be from the 30's to the 40's. This is the only Nichol Kola bottle carrier I've ever seen in my several years of collecting soda pop advertising items.

Not for sale but willing to trade it for the Nichol Kola Quikold Junior being restored.

Cool! Thanks for posting and sharing... So far I have the cooler, one bottle, 2 bottle
caps (and the diecut girl cardboard on it's way)... Not much out there for a soda
that was around from the 1936 to the 50s... Must have been just a local bottler
or just to a certain State or area...
Thanks again... :happydrinkers:

Actually, Nichol Kola was bottled throughout most places in the United States and even in Venezuela. I have Nichol Kola bottles from California, Washington, Utah, Ohio, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, New York, Arkansas, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

By the way, I have a Nichol Kola bottle that is stamped either '62 or '63 on the bottom. So, I would say that Nichol Kola finally went out of business in the early 60's.

Keep looking for them on eBay.

If you get a chance post the bottles I know they made different versions.
Thanks again for posting!
