Title: Ideal 55 value
Post by: Kilroy on March 24, 2008, 01:35:43 pm
What's the  going rate for an Ideal 55,non-embossed, rack, coin mech, allen wrench all there, seller claims it cools. Usual dings on lid, but body pretty  solid and straight.

Don't want to pay too much, but I fear it won't be there if I  dawdle  on  making an offer

There was an embossed Pepsi, single dot ,  complete  that  was on the local Craigslist for $250, So I would say the answer is yes.  i am speculating the double dot is a little more rarer, and be reflected in the price.

I'd say if I could find sliders up around me for 200-250-285... that where complete and cool... i'd buy them all day.
Embossed, anything under $350 would still be a deal in my book...

I'm getting $650 for a complete working , nice original paint, ideal or glasco unembossed..

I sold a Pepsi embossed last summer, needed restoration, but complete and ran great for $500
