Title: Condensation Patch Post by: russelltatedotcom on February 27, 2008, 12:57:47 am Hi guys,
Does anyone know why I get a circular condensation patch at the top of the glass door of my VVF-56 (inbetween the 2 panes of glass) It always appears after about an hour and makes the bottle caps of the top 2 shelves hard to see? It dissapears when machine has been off for a few hours? Cheers RT Title: Re: Condensation Patch Post by: collecture on February 27, 2008, 01:05:15 am I think that you might have a leak in the top of the bottle door gasket (the one in the door).
A new one is available from the sponsors here - Fun-Tronics and Soda Jerk Works I'm sure. You might be able to re-seat it - look into it. Title: Re: Condensation Patch Post by: russelltatedotcom on February 27, 2008, 10:11:43 pm Would that be a breaker seal?
(trying to learn the lingo!) Rt Title: Re: Condensation Patch Post by: Creighton on February 28, 2008, 12:01:28 am Think what Tom is talking about is the seal/gasket in the bottle door itself. If it is dry and cracked it would allow moisture to build up between the panes.
Hope of some use :-) Creighton Title: Re: Condensation Patch Post by: collecture on February 28, 2008, 12:33:48 am Think what Tom is talking about is the seal/gasket in the bottle door itself. If you are going to order one from the sponsors, go ahead and order both- the one between the main door and the bottle door and the one inside the bottle door. Save a little on shipping to AUS! When you go to install, make sure you get rid of all the old crusty remnants, |
