Title: Re: Cavalier USS 64 Post by: bubba on February 25, 2008, 01:18:11 pm That really looks good. Did you dismantle the whole stack and paint, or just the front plate?
Title: Re: Cavalier USS 64 Post by: Pat Pixley on February 25, 2008, 10:32:20 pm Roger looks real good 8) :,Your friend is very lucky to have friend like you .
Title: Re: Cavalier USS 64 Post by: rogerz on February 25, 2008, 10:37:40 pm No I didn't dismantle the stack. The front plate is the original paint. I just masked it off and sprayed the rest of the stack with a spray can. Then I used vinyl paint on the knobs because they were sun faded. I haven't been brave enough to take apart a stack yet.
It looks like alot of pieces to me  rz Title: Re: Cavalier USS 64 Post by: burtonuts on March 02, 2008, 11:02:06 am Any suggestions on changing the light bulb? I can't seem to get my fingure in to turn in the blub. Thanks, John
Title: Re: Cavalier USS 64 Post by: rogerz on March 02, 2008, 11:07:39 am If your talking about the bottle door light bulb, I used a nose pliers on the metal end to get a twist on the tube. I've also used a screwdriver to get it to turn. You only need to move it a little and then you can rotate it with your fingers.
Hope this helps. rz |
