Hubby says this stuff has to go. Title: Re: What do I do with the Post by: johnieG on January 30, 2008, 01:36:43 pm if it's an uncharged system, you can cut off the evaportator assy & jus toss it in the dumpster, but if it still has a freon charge, you must have the R12 recovered by a certified technician/shop, they will then tag the unit as such (recovered) then you can take it to the dump of local metal recycler
