I recently aquired a V63A with a NRI 11102C mech and it appears that someone let the smoke out of the resistor...does anyone have one or a part nuber of a new replacement?

If you can post a picture of what your looking for I'll check my parts mechs' box to see if I got one that'll work...JohnieG

The machine is a very early H63A, it statred life out as Coke machine I am guessing by the way it was painted. It was definately done a long time ago.

I replaced the resistor yesterday but the crem solenoid still does not engauge.

Does anyone know where to get the brass rivet for the nu block at?

How do you shrink a file?

What software do you have on your computer to edit/print digital photos...?
Are you on a Mac or PC...?

Generally speaking, some software will allow you to change the resolution of the file/image. Ex: your camera takes photos at a resolution of 250 ppi(pixels per inch); when you open the image in software you might have the ability within the resize option to change the resolution. This setting can be set to 72 and then re-save as a different name and possibly to a new location on your hard drive, perhaps a temp folder since you won't need it after uploading to SMC. This should reduce the file size enough to allow uploading... If not, a little cropping and re-dimensioning will definitely do the trip... Microsoft has a power toy that will automatically resize a picture or a folder of pictures to whatever you need. Its an easy program to use, and its free.

ah , thats better! yeah, Irecognize that mech ( I call it a shorty or half/mech) as for the brass-rivet....what's the "nu" block?

On the power cord, there is a junction box. It says NU - BLOCK right on it. I need to replace some of the wires and the rivet has to be drilled out to get into it.

      We call it a Junction box and you can drill the rivet out, you won't need it
when you re-install with a screw through it into the base.

O.K., now I have the "use correct change only" light working.

I also can make it vend by flipping the micro switch without the actual changer installed. I can't get any money to be counted though. I have looked at the mech really closely and I don't see how a dime or nickel would ever go through the actual micro switch.

Is there an a picture or a manual I can get that will show a complete break down of the change mech? I am assuming that this a nickel only mech, I see no way of setting it.

Is the crem solenoid supossed engauge as soon as you plug it in? Mine does not do anything. Are these dudes still available?
