Title: Glascock cooler value
Post by: JeepHarley on January 11, 2008, 05:59:25 pm
What's the approximate value of a Glascock Standard cooler.  The cooler is in good condition but does not have any of the original markings on the sides.
Thanks -- I'll try and add pictures later.

I'll wait to see some photos...
Do you mean that all four of the panel inserts are missing...?

No the panels are there they just have decals applied rather than the original.

Weren't the Glasscock panels embossed?

I'm debating on one in my area, embossed panels, appears solid but painted  over through the years, missing the  cap catcher  and they are asking $350.

Edit : can't type tonight

I could be fooled but this cooler looks like one of the reproduction models of the Junior.
Off the top of my head, I don't recall what these are selling for...

Jim is correct, it is reproduction. I had one for sale in my store for over 3 yrs and
finally sold it for $200.

:oh:Glen, was that for a reproduction. :Oo:

I have that original one that is going off to Steve Jebb to meet up
with that  frame I bought from you a few years back for restoration job.

So you say $200  :oh: I really hope that was for a repop.
