Title: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: cjohnson on January 01, 2008, 06:20:51 pm I finally have gotten to play with my xmas gift from my wife. (See pics)... a vendo 63. I am missing the entire coin collection piece. I would like to get this in place and operate on dimes. Does anybody know how I can do this? I see this switch that is located beside where the coin mechanism goes(like a push button)..I was assuming this would be the bypass...but, when I click it, nothing happens...maybe a reset??? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

that button on the side of the Jone plug receptacle is to turn on the lights of the marque and the light in the vend door. Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: Yarochrehc on January 01, 2008, 07:27:52 pm That's a nice Christmas gift.
You better do something nice for your wife in this holiday season. Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: bubba on January 01, 2008, 10:02:36 pm You are missing the entire coin mechanism. You can operate on free vend with either a push button or just tie the vend gate open. If you look in the coin mechanism area of this site, there is a diagram for both.
Very cool machine BTW... congrats.. :happydrinkers: Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: BrianB on January 01, 2008, 10:27:26 pm That's a great looking Vendo! You can score a Coinco Coin Mech for around $35 on Ebay or somebody here might have an extra/spare that they might be willing to part with.
Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: dr galaga on January 02, 2008, 09:39:06 am Can you just pull out the bottles right now? If so, you will need to undo what the owner before you did to put it in free-vend (which may have removed some parts :oh: ).
Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: cjohnson on January 02, 2008, 07:33:16 pm no, I can not pull the bottles out now. Is there a particular coin mechanism that I should for(specific for this model?)...is it easy to set the price...like a dime?

I've bough a few in the $30 range + a few bux for shipping. Title: Re: How does this vendo 63 work Post by: cjohnson on January 03, 2008, 08:33:39 am Great, sounds good. I followed the instructions on setting up to free vend and works great. Looks like I have all the switch mechanism in there and should be able to get the coin set up to work. Thanks for the help!
