I have recently inherited a Vendo 63 with a seized up compressor. I happen to have a new Matsu!%@$a 1/3 hp R134A compressor from an old project. It will fit properly in the mounting location. My question is I know I should flush out the condensor, etc and replace with ester oil. I have experience in automotive air conditioning, but this is a little different. Can anybody give me some helpful tips regarding how much freon to start with and an approximate oil capacity of the system? I have some piercing valves and also a dryer/sight glass I can install.
