Rejectors should stay clean and dry - oil and dirt from coins will eventually gum it up. Mechs have certain points that use a high quality dripless oil (like gun oil) and other parts that use a grease - I use white lithium. What mech are you wanting to lube? Title: Re: Lubrication? Post by: johnieG on December 20, 2007, 02:55:47 pm Electronic mechs need no lubrication, mechanical types ( crank-handle) might need some light ( dripless) type of oil (3-in-one oil comes to mind) only on the bushings of the mechanics, , but basically you never lubricate any slug-rejector/coin acceptor ( the part that accepts the coins)

So.....what's the difference between the coin mechanism and the rejector? Aren't they both combined into one unit?

Another functions is to direct them to the correct location on the coin mech. The coin mech registers the coins, thus allowing you to make a selection, etc. |
