 Hi all !
           Does anyone have a service manual for a Coinco S75-9400 or a site that may have it (already checked Coinco site w/neg results)

If it needs repair, and you can't find a manual. maybe I can help you out, I specialize in the old Coinco electronic coinmechs.    so what's not working?     

Coinco has the 9300 manual (http://www.coinco.com/coin/faq/servicemanual.asp) on their site.

Thanks "Dr-G" , but the S75-9400 series is an early coinmech that has a mechanical slug rejector simular to the S75-9800A/B models,

while the 9300 series is a modern coinmech with an electronic "flight-deck" type of coin/slug rejector ( actually uses the metal content of the coin to determine it's value & validity)

No problem, at first glance a S75-9400 looks like a S75-9800 A model, but then you'd notice that it has an extra change/inventory switch marked 10-Cents, that's because if you look closer, you'd see that one of it's cange-tubes actually holds dimes! other rhan that, it functions almost identically to the S75-9800/A model, it can be set from 5 to 75 cents per vend ( it's a single price coinmech) & it gives change back in nickels or dimes, & plugs into any machine that takes a standard 120-volt AC / 8-pin "jones" plug ( you don't count the middle "round" index/polarity pin, just the rectagular blades/prongs)

         Thank you guys for help....in checking out the female jones plug ,I noticed three wires not connected ,they had evidently had just fallen off the tabs. I believe this is why the coin mechanism didn't work .Because the coin mechanism worked good before.
         Turns out after tinkering with the female jones plug the rest of the wires popped-off ! Only #5 still stayed on the tab and appears to go to the light switch and the sign light (it is a spliced wire).
          So i guess now my real is where do all the wires go ?

Thanks for the diagram and all your help. I should mention its for a Vendo 63 . Evidently the previous owner rewired the door harness with all white insulated wires (no color code) so looks like I'll be spending plenty of time back tracking . Have a good one ! :help:

the wire harness (if original) usually had all white wires, but there should be little numbers printed on them, the same number will appear on both ends of the same wire, this should help you trace them out.

Jasmine64 has this available if you need the light harness...

                Thanks again JohnnyG , I checked the wires but the numbers (if they were numbers) were too faded. I'll use a homemade continuity light to identify where each wire ends, then use your diagram to place the wires on the female Jones plug.

                     Thanks Jim for the info, but it appears the light harness is intact. Just need to re-plug it back and should work .

Here's the actual wiring diagram for a Vendo V90, same as the V63, minus the bottle gate light portion 0f the circut. as most V63's didin't have a flourecent lamp for the bottle door, some did have  a small C7 type light at the very top of the bottle door portal.

but other than that , it's identical...

I don't see the little dip switches for setting the price?  Anyone have an idea?

Possibly a "fixed" price unit...

       Take the back cover off to find dip switches on the older models.
