Title: Vendorlator Pepsi machine
Post by: desertjo on October 23, 2007, 08:46:21 pm
This is model VF 56 F---serial 307047594
I know nothing about this machine except that it works very well. It's been in my barber shop for over 20 years.
Please give me a ballpark $$$--I would like to sell it.

What I learned today to my surprise is that this machine has been painted to look like a Pepsi machine. The man who owns it says it was originally a 7 UP machine.I can take a photo & post it,but it may not be very helpful.
Thanks for your reply.
He really wants to sell it,but not sure of the value since it's been tampered with. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated!

Many machines have been painted over... it should hurt value as long as it's not damaged... most people will want to restore it anyway.. or if it's in decent paint condition... it's still has some value. does it have the light up sign and glass bottle door? or just plain front?

It has a glass door & it took 15cents. I am going to try to post a pic.

And the condition of the machine is a factor in the value
and if it's all there or not .

Looks like  a pepsi to me with the sign being an original pepsi lightup under that big O'l Coke decal... I'm buying these V56's in my area from 75-150 for a real nice one... I'm sure there are other values in other parts of the country that others will chime in about...

you should buy it off him and hold on to it. These are a nice square top to have due to how thin  and short they are. Most square tops are very deep. You also have a straight machine there, a great first machine to add to your collection. If you were closer to me we would not have had this convo because it would be in my garage
