Title: Re: help with manufacture date Post by: loman4ec on October 22, 2007, 03:17:52 am It is the late model. Sometime between 1978-1982. That is just an estimate
Title: Re: help with manufacture date Post by: SquareTopCollector on October 22, 2007, 11:02:08 am I want to say 1981 but cant be for sure. That was the last of the cav squaretop 64's
Title: Re: help with manufacture date Post by: Witchboard on November 08, 2007, 11:29:30 pm My Cav64 has the manufacturing date on the white label with the model number and serial number above the coin mech. I'm presuming that's what it is. If yours still has the label take a gander.
Title: Re: help with manufacture date Post by: Camel24hrs on November 09, 2007, 05:44:01 pm I will check that come Monday. I have it in a break room at work. Best I remember the only tags above the coin mech have to do with the coin mech and they are silver. I actually have a metal data plate rivided on the side outside of the box. It has the model Number and serial number along Cavaliers name as the manufacture. Funny thing the serial number is 270482, like 27th day 4th month 1982? Guess I am just reading something into nothing there.
Title: Re: help with manufacture date Post by: Kilroy on November 09, 2007, 06:45:12 pm Early Vendo's (50-60's) did use the manufacturing date as part of the serial number (not sure if or when they stopped). I have heard from numerous sources Cavalier did not.
