Title: Hot C-72 Post by: MoonDawg on October 19, 2007, 02:19:48 pm Body shop got burglarized for his Coke machine !!! :veryangry:
I wonder if it was before or after it was painted? If a bare cabinet shows up soon, we know where it came from. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150171865771&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150171865771&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:Watchlink:middle:us) Title: Re: Hot C-72 Post by: SIGNGUY on October 19, 2007, 02:27:34 pm Joey gave me this tip yesterday.. I have a complete Body for a CS 72, except for coin door so this is exactly what I'm looking for...
I contacted the seller and she will deliver the parts to chicago for me for $140.00 in NOvember... so I'm going after this one and bidding as I could have a complete CS 72 for low money.. AND NO.... I did not steal the body from here body shop... mine came from Shoreview MN. Thanks John Title: Re: Hot C-72 Post by: coke_and_stuff on October 19, 2007, 07:13:16 pm Yeah Yeah Yeah we know you did John, I wish you luck!!!

Ha ha... not quite... but I did bid and should have went higher, but figuring 140.00 for delivery the stuff to me in chicago. I still would have had about $600 into it, still not bad, but didn't like the way the Cooling unit looked... just laying there.. I'm sure it sprung a leak with all that twisting and such.. Just too many aother things going... I am going to be listing the shell tonite and see if I can get something for it. John Title: Re: Hot C-72 Post by: MoonDawg on October 23, 2007, 10:47:47 am I don't see $430.00 in value. Door liner and shelves may be OK.
I agree the compressor will need work, but it's easier to get one from a C-64. Bottle stack could be made by cutting down a 96. All his rubber and glass and faceplate was to be replaced anyways. The wiring harness could also come from a square corner machine, and the door hardware is reproduced. ( Maybe the high bidder is also the owner of the cabinet)? :help: |
