Title: Bottles won't release Post by: on April 20, 2003, 08:31:51 pm I have a Cavalier CS-80 mahine that all of a sudden won't vend. It accepts the quarter, but it then doesn't "click" to allow you to pull the bottle out. I know very little about how this works. Where is the vending motor and does this sound like a coin acceptor problem or a problem with the vending motor? I have had this machine for 14 years and never had this problem. Thanks for any help you can give me.

The click you used to hear was a solonoid (magnet) that energized to allow release of one bottle, once the coin requirements were met.
