Title: Moondawg~Picking up THE VMC-33
Post by: Olympian on August 31, 2007, 12:59:20 pm
Hey Guys, I will be picking up my first round cornered machine Tuesday a VMC-33 won on  ebay and will post pictures after I get into it and see what I need or don't need :hopefull:. I finally talked to the seller and he really is selling it for a lady that her husband passed and she is moving into a retirement complex. The machine is in her basement and she doesn't know if it works or not. She said she was afraid to plug it in and the guy selling it for her told her that is fine so maybe just maybe it will be working, or not need to much work. Anyway wish me luck and I will let you know how the story ends. Thanks again Glen and Tom.

It is very likely that everything is working properly! Remember,
the only reason these old machines were pulled from service was
because they accept a maximum of 10 cents, non-profitable after
1960.  The compressors run forever.    Have fun!
