Title: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: davethebirdman on August 31, 2007, 12:51:57 pm http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=120154962980&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=002
On Ebay UK at the moment. It does absolutely nothing for me in its current state but I have seen what you guys can do with square tops. I take it that woodgrain is easy enough to remove. How about the parts he's talking about?? Are they easy enought to get hold of. The light up sign... How easy would it be to get hold of one in say 7up?? I really don't want it. What I might do is contact him and offer a much smaller price, if it fails to go at its current price ($500.00) All help as always gratefully appreicated.. Dave Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: MoonDawg on August 31, 2007, 03:05:24 pm He may have lost a lot of interest from bidders when he stated
that he misplaced parts. Your chance to jump in after the auction at $250.00 This is a better machine than that 7up you passed up. Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: davethebirdman on August 31, 2007, 03:32:11 pm Thanks chaps... I assume that these machines are getting parted out quite frequently and that lost parts shouldn't be too difficult to get hold of. How about thecoin mech?? Dave Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: 90grad on August 31, 2007, 07:02:01 pm The coin mech is the standard Coinco electric mech. They are easy to get. I would want to know what he did to the bottle/can stack.

Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: davethebirdman on September 01, 2007, 01:24:06 am Tom , that's very kind of you (as always) I've e-mailed the seller and waiting for a reply from him now. Dave Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: bubba on September 01, 2007, 07:23:51 am Definitely go for it. They are the next money machines.. I too would like to know what he removed to make it free vend.
Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: MoonDawg on September 01, 2007, 10:49:32 am Auction ended, he got no bids. The ball is now in your court Dave,
make him an offer. It's a nice light-up machine, deal with the wood grain later! If you look at the picture with the main door open, you see the wiring harness that is supposed to go to the bottom of the bottle/can stack is hanging loose. He unplugged and removed the solonoid? EASY part to find, I have a bunch so I can send one to you or Tom. Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: davethebirdman on September 01, 2007, 11:04:39 am Hi Glen thanks for the advice... I've still not a reply from my last e-mail. I'll send him another now offering $250.00 (£125.00) stressing the missing parts. I don't want it much more than that... And if I did get it, it'll have to come in under cover of darkness. Wish me luck guys. Dave Title: Re: Anyone ID this machine??? Post by: bubba on September 01, 2007, 03:46:15 pm Wish me luck guys. Dave luck in getting the machine, or getting back into the house when your wife sees it?? Either case, good luck Dave. |
