Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: Pat Pixley on August 22, 2007, 03:35:37 pm Joey thanks buddy, send me a PM to let me know what I'm going to owe you
for that shelve. Thanks Pat Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: aspbear on August 22, 2007, 05:21:30 pm Pat I just bought a 7 up embossed 55 slider. It has some issues and all the wiring is gone. I am going to see if I can hook it up to see if the compressor is any good. If not I will probably part it out and it does have a rack. I just get to work on these in my spare time so it may be a few days but I may have a rack that I would sell for a reasonable cost...I will let you know...
Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on August 22, 2007, 07:45:07 pm If you part it GB I might be interested in whatever is left over.
Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: aspbear on August 22, 2007, 07:50:11 pm OK Joey, I hope the compressor will work but we shall see...
Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: Pat Pixley on August 22, 2007, 08:34:34 pm GB That would be great thanks alot.
question does it also have a the casing for the coin mech  ? I'm going to say WOW what a group  Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: aspbear on August 23, 2007, 05:59:42 pm yes Pat it is complete. This is an older rack with the cylinder type lock in the top left corner. The machine is complete it was just outside and all of the wiring is missing from the compressor and it has some rust issues but just the bottom band that sets on the ground.
Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: aspbear on September 01, 2007, 06:58:07 pm Pat, I had some time today and wired up the compressor and it worked. I am going to restore the cooler but I will help you watch for a rack, if you do not run across one first...

Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: zadd on September 03, 2007, 06:31:53 pm Hey! Joey what is he seling the lids for $$$$ ?
Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on September 03, 2007, 08:31:26 pm Pat heres a picture of the slider rack, I wasnt to fond on some of the welding but it did include a flapper If you look at were the two cross pieces are attached to the bars that the bottles hang from you an see his blob of spot welds.
(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v231/coke_and_stuff/Picture005-1.jpg) Zadd I think the lids were $150.00 I talked with him 2 weeks ago and he said stainless has nearly doubled. So I would call to comfirm. Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on September 03, 2007, 08:33:47 pm Heres a picture of his lid, hinge holes and handle holes were not drilled. But it did include the original style rivets for the hinges. The decal under the lid was $20.00

Pat Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: BryanH on September 04, 2007, 01:42:55 pm Pat I have the decal if you are interested. I bought it from sodajerks but didn't bother using it when I did my 55.
Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: aspbear on September 05, 2007, 05:15:47 pm While we are on the subject of SodaJerks decals. I want to put in a plug for them, I have bought some decals and hard parts from them. The products are top quality and very fast delivery and easy to get info from....

Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: SIGNGUY on September 06, 2007, 08:35:40 am Joey,
Can you share with us the price on the Rack as well? I have a couple of sliders minus the rack and would like to complete them as well... I guess I didn't know anyone was making them anymore? You can either post or PM me if you'd like. Thanks! Love the slider... very sharp... too nice for me though... Id' be afraid of getting finger prints on it or something.. :tounge: Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: SIGNGUY on September 06, 2007, 08:38:04 am Regarding Soda Jerk Works,... I am going to be buying some Hard parts son.. door liners and such... Have people had luck with the liners and such from them matching up and sutch? Would like to hear more feedback before spending a few hundred bucks with a vendor.
John Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: coke_and_stuff on September 06, 2007, 08:50:20 am I believe the racks are $150.00 it was a year ago so I may be wrong, as for the hard parts Ive bought main door liners from Home Arcade, and Funtronics both were the same and equally nice. I bought misc stuff from Soda Jerks and they were just as nice parts that were bought from the other two.
Joey Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: Kilroy on September 06, 2007, 09:33:44 am I'll also throw in kudos to Soda Jerks.
The service and quality of parts have been above my expectations Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: MoonDawg on September 06, 2007, 01:30:44 pm It is my understanding that all suppliers get their door liners from
the same manufacturer and no they do not fit right! I was finishing an 81 last week and discovered I was out of liners. I had a homemade galvanived liner someone made and I used it to hold the insulation in place until new ones arrived. The holes in the galvanized were lined up perfect with the holes in the door. The new liner is basicly too small. It's like the engineer lined the holes up on a flat plane, but when that linear dimple was stamped all around, it brought all 4 sides inward about 1/8 " See pic of new liner on top of galvanized. Until a new stamping is developed these will have to be centered and new holes drilled in the door.. Title: Re: Need some parts Post by: Pat Pixley on September 06, 2007, 11:07:10 pm Well I'm still look for a rack and a Frankinsten coin mech housing. :oh:
