Title: This Gas Pump Followed me home yesterday
Post by: SIGNGUY on August 17, 2007, 10:49:34 am
While out at a clients house yesterday, I nosed around and found out he had this Tokheim 300 sitting out by the garage... I expressed interest and he said I could have it for $50.00
obviously I managed to get it home pretty darn quick!!  It's a nice Tok Pump has ad glass that says premium under where it's painted orange... :happydrinkers:

 :jawdrop: 50 bucks!?!?
If you're not careful you're gonna have as many pumps as you do machines...
Then again you'll be able to pair them up.. A different brand pump for each machine... good thinking! I'm gonna try that one!
Great Score! that is a great model.. it was my first pump! Can't beat that price!
Is it gutted?....

THanks guys... Yes Eric it's gutted... real nice shape.... and to answer your question I almost do have as many pumps as machines now.. I think the count is 7 Pumps 12 Machines.
Hopefully will be sell off a few of each in the future as I have NO Room in my garage and the wife has made her point clear of wanting to actually park the cars in there this winter???  :tounge: :glare:

This Gas Pump Followed me home yesterday

Is that what you used to say when you were a kid about dogs and cats?

Nice price on the pump.

Yea, my wife has the crazy idea that her new car will go in to our 1940's garage this winter.  I have no idea where the tractor, bikes, tools and recycling bins are going to go!

You know I hate that when a gas pump or a soda machine  follow me
home , then it has to be feed and groomed and so on and so forth  :glare:

Great score     . And I know all to well the wife needs the garage for her car   tale , Let me finish it for you,  Your cot on one side
of the garage her car on the other side and your machine  and cool things
parked outside in the snow  .

to solve this problem , Brother inlaw with pole barn or there is the back room in your office or the basement to store all your goodies

Pat

I was told as long as two cars fit and we can enter and leave them without jumping or climbing over stuff... I should be good to go..

plus I've decided to sell a few things to help 1: help with the space issue... 2: to help fund the new Storage Garage/Shed/Workshop that I'm hopeing will be completed before snow flies....

So with that said, the pump that started this thread... Sold today for $350!!! just sitting out front of the house on driveaway with a For Sale sign on it...

There will be more! and now have $300 extra to play with! (I mean put toward my space savings venture)

Put all those pumps and machines in the living room and she will have the car in the driveway in no time.  If you have a large lot you can buy a steel cargo container cheap.
