Title: People crack me up Post by: zadd on August 10, 2007, 08:26:42 pm There's a guy on the local craigslist that has a vendo 90 dr pepper machine and wants 400.00. I asked if he would take an offer and he said no. He goes on to tell me that you can't get these anymore and antique shops sell them for a lot higher and they don't even work. He goes on to tell me that if he went any lower it would be like giving it away. $400 isn't a horrible price but the story that came with it is hilarious. :laugh: ( Ps: Sorry if the person selling the v90 is a member)

What they mean is that the antique stores TRY to sell them for more. If they were really selling them, then we wouldn't see them sitting there! :upside: Title: Re: People crack me up Post by: BryanH on August 12, 2007, 10:36:53 am I've had a similar discussion with a guy on Phx craigslist selling an incomplete VMC-56 (from the 1950's no less) for $1200. Told him it might be worth $150. Haven't heard back.... don't know why?
