Title: Vendo 110
Post by: MoonDawg on July 23, 2007, 05:12:44 pm
This machine went for a week on E-bay at $500.00 starting and no one bid. Because it was less than hour away I was watching it. It was relisted at $350.00 so I asked seller if I could inspect the damage before bidding. It had fallen forward onto the cement floor. When I got there I offered $300 cash.

Got it home and dreaded taking the whole door apart just to hammer out the corner.  Brainstorm......drill a 3/4" hole in the wood, beat out the dent with a long blunt punch, stuff with insulation and plug it.
Shown is a picture of the plug location and the machine that got fixed this weekend. Surprised myself!
Have another coin door being prepared for paint now. Had to replace a broken crank handle but no damage done to the mech. The compressor actually works good, it was just unplugged from the junction box.   Got lucky on this one!  :happydrinkers:

Moon I was looking at that machine on ebay( too far away to bid so I was just looking) I kinda hoped it would sell for the 350 only and thus I could print the auction and show it to this guy I have met who has a v110. Because he wants over 1000 for his and its in worse shape. So I needed some " evidence" that it wasn't worth much....... LOL
