Title: What is Lubriplate #15
Post by: St Louis Pop on July 16, 2007, 05:25:34 pm
I just bought a Vendo 63.  Works pretty well but the vend mechanism is a little stiff.  I'm guessing it hasn't been lubricated in years.

The Vendo manual I got calls for "Lubriplate #2" or "SAE #10".  Wondered if this is like 3-in-1 oil or what exactly I should use that is readily available.

Thanks!

PS- my machine is a "H-63A" - anyone know what that means?

Welcome to SMC!! Quick answer is to get the rack clean. Then, I use white Litholem grease on the contact points sparingly. Any rusted springs should be replaced. You can use the search function on this board to find a wealth of information on cleaning/painting and such. Vending stack or rack should be a good start.

Can you post a picture? H-63A denotes vending capacity of 63 bottles. "A" is probably first model but pics are the best way to tell.
Any questions just ask!
