Title: victorian casino auction vegas october
Post by: Ginger Prince on July 08, 2007, 02:36:16 pm
not sure if anyone has posted on this already,
if so my apologies in advance.

it was linked to slot machine site here in UK.

over 1000 lots,

includes I think a VMC 7 UP embossed? 81,
not sure and a restored coke44.

some nice items.

I am very interested in a slot,

was wondering if anyone had been previously?
as looks to be an annual or x6 monthly auction?

whether prices are low medium high in general?

I am sure many on this site would be interested in soem of these items,

regards

I am going to this. I saw this a few weeks ago. Going to bid on the 7UP 81. If anyone is going, let me know. If not and you want a bid on something, let me know. I am going to see what I can grab while I am out there.

They have this auction 1-2 times a year. Prices are always high... It's in Vegas... everything is big money in vegas... there is a store in caesars palace with restored Vendo 81's and nice stuff with super high prices on it, the 81 was 12,000... no restoration is THAT Good.

Yeah, I Internet bid on some items in their last auction.
A couple of DP Signs that normally would go for $200-$250 on eBay went for $400+.
There was also a cool Shell Gasoline "Green Streak" round porcelain sign that I thought would go for $800-$1000 and it went for $2200.
Not cheap! They definately always have some nice stuff - I need to win the lotto! :hopefull:

The store in the mall in Vegas sells their high-end
products to overseas visitors, who are a captive
market.  People who live in this country only need to
do a little shopping to find much more reasonable
pricing.  These auctions seem to cater to our foreign
visitors as well. Would be fun just to preview this one.

Does this 7up 81 have a bottle stack?

Was there ever a Pepsi Galaxy produced?

I think the 7-Up has a stack. It looks like they tinted the bottle door???

i think me and the birdman should fly into vegas a
couple of days before the auction & hit the tables,
then go over to the auction with our bags of chips
and outbid everyone and take them back in the hold
on the way back paying our excess baggage & duty with the last of our chips...........................................

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

maybe just maybe
