Sorry I'm Late
But after spending 2 hours shoting the crap with the guy & showing us how they worked (Mostly) We packed them up & headed home .

But On the way we found another little prize .A guy in a car pulled up next to us and said Hey I got a game sorta like the Shuffle Ball (Puck)  game .I said What do you want for it . Clamied it was'nt working & Would Take $100 for it My Friend said SOLD !So Now we followed him .It was a Bowling Pin Game useing a puck also .
Well We got them back to the Gararge &I spent 2 hours Shotting Buffalos & Duck & Deer What a Blast !! :p

I then started Removeing the Guns & Stocks to Sand & Varnish & Sand & Paint the Barrels (Done ) Waiting On drying
So I then started checking on the Bowling Game .New Cord & Fuse's . Replaced screws missing in player one point wheel ?? Fired Right UP !! Still need to clean all the contact's because it dose'nt allways move to next player & pin 7 only works on spare. A couple Coils?Seem to be gumed up .So more Cleaning .

The Suffle Ball works great !! I'll post Better Pictures later .We worked on them ALL day & up to 10:45 pm to night .What A great First day Home :D

Total for ALL games $300.00 $20.00Gas & $20.00 Lunch
Not a bad day at ALL.

These are the stories that keep us looking and turning over stone!
Awesome catch!
Patience and persistancedoes pay off ! ! !

Quick story of similar fate...
One Friday morning at the fire house while browsing the Bargain Trader, a weekly publication to seel personal items, I noticed a machine shop selling a bunch equipment. but something looked out of place, I read the small narrative and to my surprise, it listed an old Pepsi machine. FORTUNATELY, I was able to get a couple of hours off duty to run by and discuss things. On my way there, I stumbled upon a garage sale that had a working 60's baseball game & another electro pinball machine. After quickly settleing on a $300 price for both, I continued down the the transmission shop to look at the Pepsi machine. The guy told be it worked and that he dragged it down to So. Fla from NY several years ago and that he was clearing the shop. We negotiated a price, left him a deposit and I told him I would be back in the morning to pick it up and pay the remaining money. I returned to work for the rest of my shift and had to delicately tell the wife that I had spent $1800 in about an hour!
When I returned the next morning, he told me he could've sold it for more to one of the many people that responded after me... I was relieved that he was honest and had integrity because he honored my deposit and kept the other soda machine enthusiasts at bay!
The moral of the story is that you never know where your next prize will pop up ! ! !

I was Happy to say the least...

That's awesome Leonard! What a truly great find. I've been looking for a shuffle alley or a ball bowler here in Indiana casualy for the past few months but havne't found anything .....YET!  :)

Those old EM games are the best. I love working on complete basket cases and breathing life back into them. I remember the very first time I got a glimpse of the head of an EM pinball machine. It was a Gottlieb Spirit of 76 4 player. I was amazed at the complexity! A true marvel of American ingenuity.

All of the relays and score reels were so tightly but logically crammed into it and there was enough wiring to reach from here to the moon! :)

leonard, Nice score  try bigballbowler.com for backglasses, schematics and parts.  EM machines can seem a little daunting at first but after awhile they start to make sense.  I feel the most satisfaction when I can bring one back to life.  A good resource for repair can be found at marvin3m.com.  Great reading on bowlers and an excellant repair tutorial on EM repair.  It's based on pinball but will aplly ro your stuff as well.  Have fun.
