Title: Is this asbestos? Post by: on March 10, 2003, 10:52:00 pm Hello, I just received a double opening lid off an RC cola chest. The lid is two doors attached with a rubber strip for a hinge. They are stainless on top and say "Drink Royal Crown Cola, best by taste-test" in yellow and red on the inside. The lids are in unrestorable condition so I hope to salvage advertising portions. While dismantling them I noticed the insulating material inside and was concerned that it might be asbestos or such and thought I should stop and ask this forum for advice.
