Title: C55E Post by: BryanH on April 05, 2007, 05:49:09 pm Terry - you do amazing work. The paint is blinding with your *old* digital camera. Was this one for a customer or just for fun?
Title: C55E Post by: MoonDawg on April 05, 2007, 06:47:33 pm If I remember correctly, that machine looked OK before it was restored but you made it look better than new.
Can we see a pic of the chromed coin enrty bezel? I've never seen one un-pitted before And the sign lit up ? Nice work Terry Title: C55E Post by: globalcompressors on April 05, 2007, 06:50:44 pm Looks great Terry!

Title: C55E Post by: collecture on April 05, 2007, 11:49:14 pm Great work Terry!
Did the customer want the fishtail logo or was it your own touch? Most originals that I have seen had the traditional Cav sides. Title: C55E Post by: Creighton on April 06, 2007, 12:45:50 am Way cool Terry, Thanks!!

What kind of "legs" is the machine on? In the photo the machine was still on 4" bolts. I use these to "lift" the machine during rstorations, makes painting underneth a lot easier. The original style leg levelers were added afterwards. Title: C55E Post by: sodaworks on April 06, 2007, 04:55:51 pm (MoonDawg @ Apr. 05 2007,4:47) QUOTE If I remember correctly, that machine looked OK before it was restored but you made it look better than new. Can we see a pic of the chromed coin enrty bezel? I've never seen one un-pitted before And the sign lit up ? Nice work Terry The original machine needed alot more work than it appeared. The sign does lit up. These 55's are some what of a chore to retore. This one belongs to a client and is set up to vend cans. Title: C55E Post by: sodaworks on April 06, 2007, 04:58:48 pm My client wanted something different from the original bland side marking's but we wanted to stay within the era of the machine. The fishtail logo's really set the machine off. When I build me one I will stay with the fishtail logo's
