Title: Nesbitts' VMC VF117-D-SA transitional
Post by: johnieG on April 01, 2007, 04:44:25 pm
Well I finally got time to snap a few un-cluttered pictures of my Nesbitts Orange, Vendorlator (VMC) VF117-D-SA transitional machine.  and so here they are...

It's the same overall dimentions  width & depth-wise as a VF90, it stands at 7 feet tall, the Plastic Nesbitts sign has a 3-d bottle cap ( often seen on LaCrosse Pepsi machines also) the words "vendorlator" at the lower right section of the front door are embossed
(which I wouldn't have expected)

The coinmech is a die-cast metal Coino FPB-9800 series (5 to 25 cents).

If you look closely at the bottledoor, you'll see it's really two VF56 glass-panels stacked together in a common frame. the trim is in great shape, althought the paints taken a beating , still you gotta luv all that Orange!

the compressor fired right up & it vends fine, although I hate to think that I'm going to have to drop the bottle gate out to lube it!) the VMC V117 stands tall* as a shinning apex to the glass-door/slant shelf bottle vendor in size alone!

* Pun intended!

overall it's a very nice, complete 100% original machine, in an uncommon flavor.

Very interesting! First one I have seen like this. Not a bad looking machine! I like the sign on the front!

I like the look eventhough it's a little big.
If that was in a 56 size, you'd have something, especially in original condition!

Wow! chop that in half and you'd have 2 56s! Love the sign!
cool to see something different.

It's like my Westinghouse WC102MD, it kinda grows on you! plus it really impresses "small-fry's" (little kids)

Hmmm a hack saw, mig welder, & away we go, one Nesbitts V56 coming up!

it was still easier to move than that bloody LaCrosse 90LLC!

John are you going to repaint it? It would look good with a white body and orange door. just a thought.
