Title: CoinCo S75-9800B Problem Post by: on February 07, 2007, 02:08:45 pm I have a Dixie Narco 440 with a CoinCo S75-9800B when I put change in it goes straight to the coin return.
I tried to wire in a Free Vend switch and I get a click sound from the vend relay but nothing happens when I push the dispense buttons. Any helpful ideas or suggestions? I'm new to this and would like to set this up in my shop for pop and beer. Would like to set the price at 5 cents and have done that. But coins just fall thru. I'm not sure if the 9800b does the same thing but you could try putting some older coins thru it and see if it accepts them. Have you read the 9800 manual you can get it at the coinco website http://www.coinco.com/coin/faq/servicematerials/909826_1.pdf . If that doesn't help, seems like the common answer I've seen is that the logic board is gone. Good thing is that these can be had for cheap on Ebay.
Title: CoinCo S75-9800B Problem Post by: BryanH on February 07, 2007, 03:44:15 pm try cleaning the slug rejector (the top piece). I can get gummed up and that can cause all coins to drop straight through.

After a good cleaning - I have never had any problems with old or new coins. Everybody always says that the new coins just won't work, but I have honestly found no difference.
