Title: Finding new keys or locks for CVB-106

Hello all,
I recently acquired a CVB-106 from my old boss who had had this machine sitting in his garage for a while. I have been doing some reading up on it from some posts here. The machine does not have a key, and I would like to get either a key or a new lock for this machine (in order to limit the kids from running in and out of the machine just grabbing cokes.) I looked at some of the sites listed that sell parts for soda mcahines, but did not see anything specific for my model.
Is there a generic lock that will work for a "T" handle that would work for my machine. I just want to make sure before I purchase something that I can't use.

I think you'll hear that a photo is worth a thousand words...
If you can take a digital photo of the lock assembly in question, we'll be better informed to solve the issue...
Since you mentioned "T-Handle", I would assume this is an "ace style" lock assembly... You'll have to drill the lock to unlock the door so a replacement can be installed. I'm not up on this style of lock, but I think it will be difficult to locate a key...

If it is an ACE circular type key, a old-time locksmith can probably make a key.
He will have to have the depth guages and such.
Search around for a locksmith that has been around a while.

When I had my big CV I just bought an ACE lock off ebay. Worked fine.
FYI I have a container full of parts for a CV machine. I bought machine & pulled everything for spare parts. I never got around to listing it ebay after I sold my CV
Plus I have CV manuals that will come in handy. $ 7 for the manual.

Well, I guess I didn't include enough info. The lock is actually unlocked, that way we can get in and out of the machine. I would like to get a lock to allow me to lock up the machine. As far as an "ACE" type lock, I'm not quite sure what that would be. So I have included photos of the lock/handle in its current condition now below.

ACE type keys and locks refer the the cylinder like keys that fit into the round key holes.
I am sure you can find something to fit your handle.
Unfortunately I'm not the guy to ask on that.
I do not own any t-handle lock machines.

Yes they did because they are back breakers. I would not recommed a one person trying to move them.
They are much easier to move with the big vending rack removed.
