Title: Storage Time!
Post by: collecture on January 25, 2007, 06:31:43 pm
I thought I would post a couple of pics of the Mobile-Mini I had dropped in my yard.
And of my soda machines before I may or may not put some things on top of them.
I not going to tell.

Thanks Tom,  I am going to show my wife this picture everytime she walks by one of my machines and sighs.   Thanks for the help :D

Have a Coke and the Bell boy inserts... I print them off on a color copier
on off white card stock for aged look... they look sharp! If you or anyone here wants a set let me know... just pay the postage.

I have both styles of coin changers (I guess that means 12 machines not pictured).
You also have my permission to use the photos in whatever capacity you desire.
I'd take one of the Bellboy repro's. I have a nice original CC, but don't store it with it.

Eric,  is there somewhere we can see all of the re pop's you have done.  I saw the signs that you put up and had intentions of getting some and never did.   I would like another shot.

Tom,
I too have 3 seatrains for machine storage. A 45', and two 20's. They work great.

Tom - why don't you just buy the container... pull in a 200A service drop, add some tools and AC or swamp cooler and you've got yourself a combination work shop / sweat shop?

It is a very cost effective way to securely store things.
So far I am pleased with it.
Mobile-Mini offers a service where after you get it loaded,
they take it away and deliver it back when you say.
I can't imagine doing that though - there are just a few floor tiedowns in the thing.
They tilt it about 45 degrees and slide it off a flatbed (or pull it up on).
Unless you have the thing so jam packed that nothing can move, well....
I am glad I have the room on my property for it.

They are very secure and water tight.

Ok question for you Tom did you run out of room
to store your machines, That 55  looks way to nice
to put in storage, can't it go in the bed room or living room?
just wondering.
I know finding a place to store them can be a problem
I have 5 at my home  7 at  the brother inlaws pole barn
2 at my office and  I think one at Johnie G place (John I will be
down there soon)Ok  so I may have a little storage problem.
Ok this Mini storage may make sense  , But can't you keep one
at home ?

Pat

I'd like to have the 55 in the kitchen when we redo it (????), it is perfect for it.
You need no buffer for the hinge during loading - the machine can be flush with cabinets, etc
Put it on casters, so you can service it - give it a little ventilation in back....
After my second son was born, I lost my office to the 5-year-old.
Now the office is in the living / dining room.
With the expansion we are doing, I am losing my garage temporarily.
The container is just temporary storage. The construction should be over in 4 months (they say).
Then I'll have a gameroom, I'll get my office back plus a bigger garage and a small workshop.
I do have 12 other machines that aren't pictured and not stored in the container Pat.

Hi Tom

great Pictures. I love seeing all the machines lined up like that. Plse excuse my ignorance but the DP Machine with the glass door is that a 110?? I love the DP Colour scheme. For me they are the best looking machines.

We need pictures of the gamesroom as it progresses.

Dave

Hello

Does that DP V-110 need a new home down here at the beach in SC?

I have my Coke/Pepsi color painted V110 that I would be willing to trade as part of a payment?

Kevin

Sorry Kevin - DP is my thing!
I have another generic V110 on the way to me.
I might be parting it out and could get the generic main door fairly inexpensively.
You could make your own!
I'll let you know after I get it and decide what to do with it.

If not I also have a generic 110 that I'm willing to part with.

Ok Tom I was worried that those poor machine's
were not going to see the light of day again.
But now that I know your building a new home
for them (the game room & office & workshop)
every thing is good   :happydrinkers:
Got to see this when it all done.

So Terry,
Are yours full of soda machines?
Do you rent them month to month or did you buy them?
