Title: WWII Lucky Strike Cigarette dispenser Post by: cormy on January 22, 2007, 01:25:15 pm I found this Advance Cigarette Dispenser at the now defunct(?) Hershey Gameroom Show about 2 years ago. It was only the front shell, I had to buy another unit to get all the parts on this one.
The decals are original, I just repainted it around them. The soldier is pushing war bonds. I really liked it, seems rare? Anybody know where I might get the window piece I have pictured? I had to make my own version which doesn't look too original. I have the same machine that vends candy out the bottom hole. Mine doesn't have the upper window. Just curious.

I have seen lots of these machines on Ebay, Condoms, Candy alsorts. Never seen the hole though. Title: WWII Lucky Strike Cigarette dispenser Post by: collecture on January 22, 2007, 05:46:04 pm Isn't the hole just a product window so the buyer can see it is not empty?
I think that is what cormy is referring to. I had a pack of Luckies in the machine behind the window but they got misplaced during the move. Had a small piece of glass cut , found a flat metal peice with a approximate window size and riveted it on. Would rather have an original piece.
