Title: vendo 110??
Post by: davet426 on January 06, 2007, 09:46:21 pm
Is this a Vendo 110? That is what it looks like from the machine section. Is it worth $500?

Thanks

Hi Dave
Yes, it's a 110. Looks like its missing the vending crank handle. Can you get the vending/coin door open to see inside? The handle is no big deal, but the coin mech is a different story. Looks nice for $500 either way.

Dave,

If the machine is in as good as condition as this picture is leading us, works and is complete(with the exception of the crank handle), $500 is a good price!

What about the other machine in the background...? Or possibly others...?

It is missing the coin mech... What do you mean by different story? The guy accepted the $500 offer, but I don't want to get into trouble here.

Thanks

The coin mechs are not rare per say, but can be difficult to get.
It is the same mech that is in a V81A & V81B.
Even a V39 or CAV51 mech will work, but you have to modify the shaft length.
Vintage Vending is currently offering a couple of mechs on eBay that should work for you.
The one Sleepwalk bid on is preferable over the other.
The rejector can be more dificult to find than the mech if not with the mech.
An original crank handle can be difficult to find also, but repros are available.
Hard to say what the mechs will go for:
Usually not less than $100, but can go as high as $200 or more
depending on the bidders.
I have seen original crank handles go for as high as $90.

Jim, he also has the 83, and I believe the machine behind this one is the same in the other pic. I will check into them when I go pick up the 110

I spoke to the guy today. He has the 110, 83 (for $650 but I know he'll come down to at least $500) and this one which is in the back of the other two photo's. I believe from the SMC extensive machine section, which makes my novice life so easy it is a V-125, he wants $300 OBO on it. I am going to pick up the 110 Friday. He says all is there (except the coin mech and handle) and the compressor runs but none of the 3 get cold. I'll keep you updated. This puts 7 machines in my garage I am done for awhile. I need a little room to work on them. So if anyone is interested in one of the others let me know...
